Camp Carman is an early childhood summer camp for kids ages 3-8. We are a small, family-run camp (up to 10 children) which specializes in letting little ones explore, socialize and learn in a fun, enriching environment. We also customize the camp to students who register.
There are full day and half day options. We offer add-ons, such as early bird childcare (8 - 9 am), organic lunch (12 - 1), and late afternoon "night owls" care (3 - 5 pm). We also offer Date Nights (5:30 - 8:30 pm) for kids ages 0-7 on select nights during the summer. Camp Carman is part of Excited2Learn, an organization devoted to early childhood movement, mindfulness, and social-emotional intelligence.

Hi! My name is Amanda Carman and I'm the lead teacher for Camp Carman. I'm so excited to learn with your kids this summer!
I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Williams College and my master's degree in early childhood education from Tufts University. I taught first grade in Lincoln for six years before having children. I returned to teaching preschool when my youngest child entered Kindergarten.
I am the founder of Excited2Learn, a company that develops resources for educators and parents of young children. You can find my work on Teachers Pay Teachers.
I love cooking, yoga, painting, running, the ocean, and spending time with my family & friends. I am looking forward to meeting you and your camper(s).
